In Ancient Greek folklore, a phoenix is a long-lived bird that cyclically regenerates. The idea of the phoenix obtaining new life by rising from its ashes has fascinated people for centuries. It's often associated with the sun, which adds to its symbolism of renewal and transformation.

Over the years, I've thought about this folkloric tale time and again. Perhaps, it's the thought of being reborn, of being renewed that makes the etymology much more enthralling.

This leads me to the subject of starting afresh.

Throughout our lives, we encounter moments of great change, growth, and transformation, and the idea of a fresh start, like the phoenix rising from the ashes, is something that many of us have contemplated.

Whether it's a desire for personal growth, a fresh beginning, or a chance to leave behind the past, the phoenix serves as a powerful symbol of hope and renewal. It reminds us that no matter the challenges or setbacks we face, there's always the potential for rebirth and a new chapter in our lives.

Ever onwards friends,
