Maria Cox is an award-winning romance author known for writing sultry, love stories that celebrate passion, vulnerability, and authentic connection. Her love of storytelling began early—she penned her first short story as a child and fell head over heels for the romance genre at just eleven years old. Since then, romance has remained at the heart of her creative life. 

Beyond her writing, Maria has long been dedicated to supporting the writing community. While living in the American Southwest, she served two terms as President of the Phoenix Writers Club, where she championed writers across multiple genres and experience levels. She also held executive board positions with the Romance Writers of America, New York City (RWA/NYC) chapter, serving as both Secretary and Treasurer. Maria is also a contributing blogger for Blogging in the Big Apple, where she shares insights on writing and creativity. 

When she’s not crafting contemporary love stories, Maria works in the banking industry and lives in Queens, New York.
