The Moment I Knew Writing Romance Was My Calling

There are certain moments in life when something simply feels right. For me, that feeling came through writing romance. I had always loved reading stories about love, relationships, and the unexpected ways people find each other. But eventually, I realized I didn’t just want to read those stories. I wanted to create them.

When Reading Became Writing

I’ve always been drawn to stories that make me feel something. A great romance can make you laugh, bring tears to your eyes, or leave you thinking about the characters long after you close the book.

That emotional connection is what pulled me toward writing. I loved the idea of creating characters with their own hopes, fears, flaws, and dreams, then watching their lives unfold on the page.

Finding My Own Voice

Like any creative journey, becoming a romance writer has been a process of learning and growing. Along the way, I discovered that writing romance allowed me to combine the things I enjoy most: strong characters, emotional moments, unexpected twists, and, of course, love.

I especially enjoy exploring the complicated paths that bring two people together. Sometimes it’s a second chance. Sometimes it’s an unexpected attraction. And sometimes love appears when neither character is looking for it.

Looking back, I think the moment I knew writing romance was my calling wasn’t one single event. It was the realization that these were the stories I wanted to keep telling.

And thankfully, the story is still being written.

Ever onwards,
